We are approaching the second year of The Get into Publishing Festival.

 

We are formed of four ex-industry professionals who have spent time in each department within the publishing industry. We know first hand how competitive an industry it can be to enter. We also know that it can be an extremely daunting and difficult to enter with increasing competition for every available job role.

 

However, it is possible with the right help, advice and support. That’s why we’ve put together this festival designed especially for you. Across the weekend, there will be a variety of different events, including talks, panels, 1-1s and workshops.

 

These have been designed with specific skills in mind, aimed to provide you with invaluable experience and knowledge in your quest to join the industry. The sessions will be run by industry professionals, from those at large publishing houses to those at independent houses composed of as little as two people. All of these individuals have an enormous array of knowledge which will help provide an in-depth look at the different roles within the industry and their relationship to one another.

 

This is a weekend which will provide an opportunity to meet the faces behind the books and will definitely be one to remember!
